📨 Sending Emails and Attachments

When emails are forwarded to your Parsio mailbox, you can choose how they should be parsed depending on the document type and structure.

Parsio supports multiple parsing engines:

  • Template-based parser – best for emails or files with a fixed and consistent layout

  • AI-powered parser (pre-trained models) – ideal for common documents like invoices, receipts, or bank statements

  • GPT-powered parser – designed for unstructured or complex emails and documents

  • OCR converter – used to convert scanned PDFs or images into editable text and tables

You can select the most suitable engine when setting up your parsing workflow.

Parsing email content

For plain text or HTML emails, you can parse the email body directly.

  • With the template-based parser, you highlight the fields you want to extract to create a template.

  • With GPT-powered parsing, you define the fields you want to extract, and Parsio handles the rest.

Once configured, Parsio will automatically extract data from all matching incoming emails.

We strongly recommend forwarding only the emails you want to parse, not your entire inbox.

Parsing email attachments

Parsio can also parse email attachments such as PDFs and other file types, including: PDF, EML, XLS, XLSX, CSV, HTML, JSON, TXT, JPG, and PNG.

To parse attachments:

  1. Automatically forward emails containing attachments to your Parsio mailbox.

  2. Choose the appropriate parsing engine based on the document type:

    • Use pre-trained AI models for invoices, receipts, or bank statements.

    • Use GPT-powered parsing for complex or unstructured documents.

    • Use the OCR converter for scanned or image-based files.

  3. Configure the fields you want to extract.

Parsed data will appear in the Parsed data section, where you can review and export it.

Exporting parsed data

Parsio offers several ways to export your extracted data:

  • Download files in CSV, Excel, or JSON format

  • Export data to Google Sheets

  • Send data via webhooks

  • Connect Parsio to other apps using integration platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Pabbly Connect

For more details, see the Data Export & Integrations section.

Cleanup note

If you delete your Parsio mailbox, remember to disable auto-forwarding rules in your email provider to avoid forwarding emails unnecessarily.
