💡 Tips and Tricks for Efficient Parsing
1. Use a dedicated mailbox for each email type
(Template-based parser)
We strongly recommend creating a separate mailbox for each type of email you want to parse.
For example, if you need to extract data from Airbnb and Amazon emails, create two separate mailboxes from the Mailboxes page.
This approach has several advantages:
Better performance and faster data extraction (most important)
Each mailbox has its own field set, so extracted data does not get mixed up during export
Easier template management
Ability to send data from each mailbox to different apps or databases
2. Keep your templates up to date
(Template-based parser)
In most cases, you only need 1–3 templates per mailbox.
Email layouts may change over time, so you may occasionally need to add a new template. Remember to disable or delete unused templates to maintain high parsing accuracy and speed.
3. Enable automatic email forwarding
(All parsers)
Automatic forwarding makes parsing easier and more reliable.
Configure your email provider to automatically forward incoming messages to your Parsio mailbox instead of uploading emails manually.
4. Data privacy: delete parsed documents (optional)
(All parsers)
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.
You can permanently delete parsed documents and extracted data either manually or automatically by configuring a document retention policy under Mailbox → Settings.
This is useful for internal policies or regulatory compliance.
